THE BAKER HOUSE, is an 1890's traditional Newfoundland salt box home and has a real history according to the locals. Here are some quotes taken from "Moments In Time...A Cultural Portrait of Green Bay".

"Like a ghostly sentinel, on a rugged point in Coffee Cove, stands an old two storey white and green house. This structure, built over a hundred years ago by the Baker family, faces south into Little Bay Arm. When the Little Bay Island ferry used to dock at St. Patricks the house was a familiar landmark to travellers."

Decked out in mostly antiques and kept up to look as authentic as possible, but with all the modern conveniences of home.

 

It is a fully equipped self contained home with everything you could possibly need for a vacation in Newfoundland.

The Baker House is a 2 bedroom home and sleeps 4 people (5 max) with full bath, living room and kitchen.

 

As you can see it has a nice deck out the front just a few feet from the water and the view is breathtaking. Relax on the deck during the afternoon and relax on the shore beside a fire at night.
